OUR  WORK.

Workforce
Representation

We work to strengthen doula workforce representation by uplifting diverse voices, addressing systemic barriers, and advocating for well-paid, well-resourced pathways that reflect the communities doulas serve across Maine

Perinatal Task Forces

We participate in statewide and local perinatal task forces to uplift community voice, share doula perspectives, and shape policies that advance equitable, respectful care across Maine’s birth systems.

The Maine Doula Directory is the state’s only free, no-barrier listing connecting families to doulas across Maine, supporting informed choice, access, and equitable perinatal care for all.

Workforce Education

We partner with organizations to advance workforce education, collaboratively reducing barriers and creating inclusive, well-resourced pathways that support doulas of all backgrounds across Maine’s perinatal care system.

Toolkits + Publications

Our growing library includes the 2024 Maine Doula Workforce Assessment and the upcoming Hospital Doula Collaborative Toolkit - resources designed to support systems change, advocacy, and equitable perinatal care statewide

Presentations + Conferences

We share our work at statewide and national conferences and webinars, uplifting doula perspectives, sharing data and tools, and advocating for equity in perinatal care through public education and dialogue.
