Doula Support Circle
The Doula Support Circle offers twelve monthly sessions for doulas across Maine. Each 90 minute virtual gathering provides space for shared learning, mutual support, and community connection.
The Doula Support Circle helps strengthen Maine’s doula workforce through burnout prevention, peer support, collective problem-solving. This program is doula doula-led, with subjects shaped by the needs and interests of those who attend. Each session balances open sharing with guided learning, ensuring that participants can bring forward the issues that matter most in their work and communities.
Sessions are facilitated by Leah Kohlstrom, a skilled teacher and experienced doula, who brings a supportive structure to the circle while leaving space for peer wisdom to guide the conversation.
